The Trek Fuel EX 7 Full Suspension Mountain Bike has large 29 "wheels to better maintain its momentum, steering wheel ensures that you'll be rolling over rough stuff and still maintain the speed through the corners. The increased wheel size also decreases angle of attack, which means that the larger wheels will look smaller obstacles when you are riding.'s bike offer a higher level of stability when you are riding as its center of gravity is low relative to the pivot point . You'll also notice improved traction through the tire contact surface, this subsequently improve the ability to scale and curves and will help the bike float in soft, loamy soil.
Active Braking Pivot
This mountain bike has suspension geometry G2, has a custom fork offset and advanced frame geometry for precise handling at low speed without compromising high speed stability. The Fuel EX 7 also comes with patented Active Braking Pivot Trek (ABP) to allow the suspension to work freely if you are on the brakes or off. ABP will provide smooth, controlled suspension that will take place at its best all the time. When the suspension is active under braking, you can brake later into a curve to maintain rear wheel traction in the best skin stuttering. This means you can go faster and just more fun.
Dual Rate Control Valve Technology
The Fuel EX 7 comes with Trek technology patented Dual Rate Control Valve (DCRV) that eliminates all the disadvantages of the traditional system of air. It has two separate air chambers, small volume, high volume, which work together to give the consistent use of the entire route and incredible control over the entire journey. This means that you can ride bigger lines, flow through braking bumps with ease, and ride with more control.
The suspension can be divided into 3 areas of use: small bump compliance (pedaling skin, high frequency), the mid-stroke compression (80% of the horse), and control highly successful (the final 10 % of travel for the big stuff). The patent pending technology DRCV can handle all three types equally well to give you a fun ride. DCRV fits the volume of air blow depending on the size you are. You get the soft feel small bumps, potholes transparent control on medium and heavy blows to the lower rear wheel hanging, and travel without background in the raw material for great successes seem to disappear.
